Caesarea เป็นเมืองที่อยู่ติดกับทะเลเมดิเตอร์เรเนียน กษัตริย์จึงได้พัฒนาเมืองนี้ให้เป็นท่าเรือที่สำคัญ

มีนักร้องนักแสดงชือดังจากทั่วโลกมาเปิดคอนเสริท์ ณ สถานที่แห่งนี้ โชคดีวันนั้นมีนักร้องประสานเสียงชาวญี่ปุ่นมาซ้อมร้องเพลง

เดินย้อนกลับเข้ามาตรงประตูทางเข้าเมือง จะเป็นกำแพงเมืองและจะมีช่องประตูไม้สองบานใหญ่ๆ เหมือนกับในหนังสงคราม(โรมัน)

สิ่งที่น่าสนใจอีกอย่างคือ คลองส่งน้ำ (Aqua-duct) โรมันโบราณ ซึ่งได้ชื่อว่าเป็นการชลประทานที่ชาญฉลาดของมนุษย์โดยการนำน้ำจืดจากภูเขามาหล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตผู้คนริมทะเล

ปัจจุบัน Caesarea ได้ถูกพัฒนาเป็น New Caesarea ทำให้พื้นที่รอบเมืองเก่านี้มีราคาสูงมาก มีวิลล่าหรูหราจำนวนมากถูกสร้างขึ้นให้กับพวก tycoons เป็นชนชั้นนำที่ร่ำรวยของอิสราเอล
